Chamakh Among International Call-Ups

Four more Crystal Palace players have been called up to represent their countries next week.

Mile Jedinak, Marouane Chamakh, Damien Delaney and Kagisho Dikgacoi have all been named in their respective nation's squads, taking the total number of Eagles internationals to 12.

Their inclusions come after Wayne Hennessey, Danny Gabbidon, Joe Ledley, Jonny Williams, Barry Bannan, Jonny Parr, Adrian Mariappa and Adlene Guedioura all received call-ups earlier this week, as previously reported here on cpfc.co.uk.

Palace captain Mile Jedinak (pictured above) heads up the latest quartet, as the midfielder gets set to join up with the Australia squad for a friendly against Ecuador at Millwall's home, The Den.

The Socceroos take on their fellow World Cup qualifiers as a warm-up for this summer's showpiece in Brazil, where the Aussies come up against World Cup holders Spain, the Netherlands and Chile in a tough group.

Marouane Chamakh has been recalled to the Moroccan set-up for their game against Gabon, having not played for his country since January 2012.

The striker has been rewarded for his fine form so far this season and will be hoping to cement his place in the squad ahead of the 2015 African Cup of Nations, which Morocco will host.

Meanwhile Damien Delaney is in Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly against Serbia on Wednesday 5th March, while Kagisho Dikgacoi is once again in South Africa party as they prepare to take on World Cup hosts Brazil in a glamour friendly on the same day.

Keep an eye on cpfc.co.uk next week to find out how all of our international stars fared.
